The Opportunity
The Community Care and Active Living department delivers a range of services and programs to support residents to live independently and actively participate in the community. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate with internal teams and provide administrative support and exceptional customer service to community and key stakeholders.
Reporting to Manager Community Care and Active Living, the Business Support Officer will collaborate closely with internal teams and provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day administrative support in systems and portals for Community Care and Active Living department.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Exhibit sensitivity with all customers from a range of cultural backgrounds, age groups and all abilities.
- Contribute to development and review of operating procedures and systems.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Beyond Secondary education, Certificate 3 in business administration or higher or with relevant office administration experience or substantive office administration experience.
- Experience in a Local Government and supporting multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers from a variety of backgrounds, age groups, and abilities.
- Experience in computer software packages including client management systems and computer applications.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
