The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Support Officer to support our Capital Delivery Team in delivering projects that shape our community.
Reporting to the Business Support Lead - Capital Delivery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Capital Delivery Program. Your expertise in administration and compliance will be key in supporting the team to meet Council policies and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake all administrative tasks necessary to support the successful program delivery of the Capital Program.
- Assist with the preparation of correspondence, organising meetings and miscellaneous administrative duties.
- Requisition payments as per Council’s Purchasing Policy.
- Take appropriate action in response to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner having regard to Councils policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of a wide range of information and projects.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Post-secondary qualification in administration, plus some experience in an administrative role.
- Contribute to both team and organisational goals with the ability to adapt to new situations, showing initiative in responding to challenges and completing work tasks.
- Work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable work demands.
- Experience in maintaining administrative systems and sound skills & knowledge of Microsoft Software applications.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
