Band 8 - Salary Range $123,831 to $138,629 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

The Opportunity

 An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced and highly organised Coordinator Executive Support to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate a high-performing Executive Support team to provide confidential, professional senior executive level support to the CEO, Directors and broader Executive Leadership Team, supporting the smooth running of the Executive Leadership Team with sensitivity, a high degree of diplomacy and excellent governance, communication, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Executive Support team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the CEO, Directors, and as required the broader Executive Leadership Team, providing timely and accurate information and support.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the Executive Support function, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CEO, to ensure priorities are clear and understood.
  • Manage all information and communication flows including storage and retrieval of information and maintenance of accurate and up to date data in key reporting systems.
  • Support the Office of the CEO and Executive team in preparation of briefings, presentations and reports to Council and Council committees.
  • Work closely with the CEO to implement key outcomes for the Office of the CEO.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Governance and/or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting senior executive and managing executive support to exceptional governance and integrity standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team, with a focus on team culture, lifting team performance and ensuring alignment with organisational goals, while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • A record of professional, reliable, and effective communication and engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives, navigating sensitive matters and exercising diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise, work to strict timelines in a fast-paced, complex environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
