Band 7 - Salary Range $109,825 to $122,758 per annum + 12% Super + ADO

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity

At Melton City Council, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and liveable city for everyone. As part of the Technology team, you will be key to help deliver the Technology Change Program (TCP).

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-impact change and training coordination as part of a major digital transformation for the Technology Change Program (TCP) to a diverse range of learners.

The role involves the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of all process-related learning and knowledge management activities for change and training services, enabling staff to perform their role efficiently, effectively and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic advice to plan, coordinate, and execute change and training initiatives across the TCP program, ensuring alignment with project timelines and the timely delivery of program objectives.
  • Capability to organise sessions, develop supporting materials, and deliver tailored support to equip impacted teams to adopt and sustain new ways of working.
  •  Assist in the comprehensive analysis, design, development, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of learning and knowledge management initiatives to ensure effective knowledge transfer and drive measurable business improvement outcomes. 
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of training content on the Council’s Learning Management System and Intranet, ensuring content accuracy, timely updates of events, and the effective dissemination of communications.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Organisational Development, Learning and Development or lesser formal qualifications with extensive
    experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing structured change and training management programs, delivering measurable organisational impact.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing communication and training plans that effectively drive user engagement and facilitate adoption.
