The Opportunities
These are exciting opportunities to work across the organisation to deliver excellence in Facilities Operations, Maintenance and Performance services.
Reporting to the Manager Facilities and Asset Services, you will lead the development of Council’s enhanced Facilities Management framework, governance and service delivery.
Coordinator Facilities Management and Performance
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Facilities Management operations align with corporate governance, statutory requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Enhance decision-making and operational performance through accurate building data collection, analytics, and reporting.
- Reduce operational costs and environmental impact through proactive energy and resource management.
- Drive sustainable building operations and support corporate environmental targets.
- Continuously enhance the quality, reliability, and efficiency of Facilities Management services.

Coordinator Facilities Operations and Maintenance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing, engaged Facilities Operations and Maintenance team.
- Develop and deliver service plans and maintenance programs aligned with Council policy, strategy and long‑term financial and capital works objectives.
- Implement and manage specialised systems and service contracts to support operations, reporting and compliance.
- Maintain and improve standard procedures to ensure consistent performance, quality and asset maintainability.
- Provide expert technical advice on infrastructure design, materials, asset management, maintenance operations and regulatory compliance.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Tertiary qualification within Building maintenance, Capital construction, Facilities Management or allied Engineering or other specialist discipline with significant relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience working in, leading and coordinating a multi-disciplined team to achieve set service objectives, typically in the fields of facility design, construction. facility management, governance, compliance and maintenance.
- Experience in both maintenance and construction project delivery particularly for multi-use community facilities, children’s services facilities, commercial offices, recreation and public amenities and other typical Local Government facilities.
- Significant experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered to meet community needs and expectations.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
